Philomina Ampofo was born in West Africa and eventually moved to the United States where she lived with her godparents before resettling with her parents in Atlanta, GA. Her remarkable academic career entails playing volleyball, running track and being active in clubs such as FCCLA, Key Club, HOPE and eventually founding the African student Association Club. A born leader, Philomina continued to excel in Valdosta State University, where she participated in clubs such as the African Student Association (ASA) where she was the dance coordinator for 4 years and hosted several events. She also joined Enactus and the American Marketing Club, both of which are business oriented. Fun fact, in ASA, she was crowned Miss ASA and she even joined a modeling troupe!
Philomina is a proud first generation graduate who achieved her BBA from Valdosta State University. However, her academic career isn’t over yet as she is set to pursue her masters soon.
While she plans to get married and start a family of her own someday, she plans to shine brighter than she already does. Someday, she will open branches in Atlanta, Canada, London and plant one at her roots, back in Ghana.
