Daniel Velandia grew up in Bogotá, Colombia. His dad is an IT specialist and his brother, a Chef. Daniel and his family came to the US when he was 17 for him to continue his education with a scholarship.
Daniel attended school at Georgia Southern for Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, plus a minor in Marketing. Throughout college, he participated in different business fraternities that gave him the opportunity to travel and go to competitions that helped him grow on a professional level.
Fun fact: he's a semi-professional soccer player! He also loves reading, dancing, cooking, and traveling.
In the short term, he strives to move to New York to open an office, and purchase, in full, his dream car: a BMW i6!
In the long term, Daniel hopes to open his own non-profit, perhaps for aspiring soccer players in underdeveloped countries, to give them an education and an opportunity. He also has a bucket list item of visiting every country in the world, and he's slowly, but surely, checking it off one by one! Next step: bring his dad along with him!
